Download Read First
Do not attempt to download courses without the permission of your teacher.
It is recommended that you have a high speed internet connection – not dial-up – for successful downloading.
It is recommended that you have Microsoft Office installed on your home computer.
Downloaded courses do not include unit or final tests. These tests can only be completed at KCAHS.
The biggest factor limiting downloads is the availability of textbooks. KCAHS is always experiencing a shortage of textbooks. Textbook shortages are usually caused by students taking books home and never returning them. KCAHS cannot loan out textbooks that are in short supply! The following courses are recommended for download since they 1) do not require textbooks or 2) copies of reading materials are available on-line. (Note: on-line materials are usually of poor quality but they are available.)
Personal Computing – no textbook required.
Adult Living – textbook copy available from Student Services Portal.
US History - textbook copy available from Student Services Portal.
English 9 - textbook copy available from Student Services Portal.
English 11 (Basic) - textbook copy available from Student Services Portal.
English 12 (Basic) - textbook copy available from Student Services Portal.
